How We Work?

...and voilà, you're all set!

01

Determine your needs

The very first thing we do is determine what your specific needs are. Factors such as the type and model of your Electric Vehicle (EV), how often you use the vehicle, the distance you travel daily, play a role here.

02

Choose the type of charging point

There are different types of charging points available, varying in functionality, power and charging speed. It is important to choose a charging point that matches your vehicle and meets your charging needs.

03

Choose the location of the charging point

The location, accessibility and proximity of the charging point is an important factor. You must take into account factors such as the proximity of the electrical installation and the aesthetic impact of the charging point.

04

Installation of the charging point

Once you have chosen a charging point and location, the final step is the installation. We take care of the necessary electrical adjustments and permits, and ensure that the charging point is correctly connected and tested.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about charging electric cars

Although the popularity and acceptance of electric vehicles is growing rapidly, there are still many misunderstandings and uncertainties about the technology. It is important to be well informed if you are making the switch to electric driving. We are happy to help you with that

All FAQ

The first and perhaps most important reason is the aspect of safety. Although all modern mobile chargers are equipped with an ICCB (In Cable Control Box: the box built into the charging cable, which controls the power and protects against overheating), most domestic electrical installations are not prepared for the prolonged strain that charging an electric car entails. A home charging station is connected to a separate electrical circuit with its own fuse. This makes this solution much better in terms of overload and fire safety. A second and equally important reason to opt for a home charging station is the charging speed. Depending on the technical specifications of your electric car, and the limitations of your home installation, charging via a home charging station can be up to 10 times faster than charging via a mobile charger at a household socket. (This also applies to charging points at a company)

Charging infrastructure for electric cars is specially designed to exclude risks. The charging process only starts when both sides (car and charging station) are correctly connected and when the communication between the car and the charger indicates that everything is safe and in order. In addition, pulling a charging cable out of a car during charging is not possible thanks to an automatic lock. On top of the security of the charging infrastructure itself, electrical systems provide additional security, as they automatically stop charging when the power limit is exceeded or if an abnormally large amount of leakage current is detected.

The range of an electric car varies greatly per model, but many new models can travel between 200 and 400 kilometers on a full charge. Some premium models can even travel more than 500 kilometers.

This depends on the capacity of the car's battery and the power of the charging station. Charging at home with a standard socket can take up to 24 hours for a full charge, while a special home charger can reduce the time to 4-8 hours. At a fast charging station, the battery can be charged to 80% in 20-40 minutes.
